Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra VS iPhone 12

It is obvious that the world is constantly changing and upgrading due to technology development. People today are using their phones – thikes kiniton –for up to 12 hours per day and it is true that they need more things from their phones. The two biggest phone companies that have been competing for years now, are both releasing new devices every year.

We are here today to do a review of the Samsung Galaxy 20 VS iPhone 12 and see if it is worth the wait. We know that the big conflicts between the two companies are not that obvious lately as the phones resemble more and more every year.

Apple supporters and Samsung fans will exploit the fact that the mobile companies are competing each other to ask for more features on the devices. But let’s get to the point and compare the two latest models of each company.

Release dates

Even though the iPhone 12 is not officially released yet, we have many information about its design and features. This is what allows us to compare it to the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra which is already out in the market. It is available in most countries worldwide.

Aesthetic

About the aesthetic and the looks of each phone, it depends on what you personally like. Generally speaking, iPhones for most people are slick phones with a fine design and rounded edges. Besides that, they are known for their fancy and clean looks that can adjust to one’s hands pretty easily.

The Samsungs are bigger yet not bulky phones that are sometimes too big for the human hands. They are very thin phones with few buttons that help you adjust the sound and lock the phone.

The iPhone 12 will probably be offered at a range of pastel colours like the Red, Green, Yellow and Black of the previous device, iPhone 11. Colours are a great way to catch the customers’ eyes and sell the device easier.

Battery Life

This is one of the most important features that users are getting demanding about. A phone’s battery life is crucial when you need to use your phone all day and never worry about carrying a portable charger.

On the Samsung Galaxy 20, we are expecting a 4.000 to 5.000 mAh battery that will be pretty sufficient for the every day use of your phone. It is going to be drained by the 5G and the huge screen

Moving on to the iPhone 12, the battery is going to be around 3.100 mAh. As we witnessed, the previous model iPhone 11 was a bit more bulky but had a better battery life which pleased most iPhone users.

The 11 pro max battery was able to go for one day and a half with one charge. So do not be afraid to sacrifice the looks of your phone for a stronger battery! We hope that Apple will maintain this battery on the

Software

We are talking about an Android phone versus an iOS phone. This depends on what you like to use and what makes your life easier, but we will offer some details.

Android Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will come with the Snapdragon 865 chipset which is an amazing software and it will definitely change your S20 Ultra experience.

As far as the iPhone is concerned, it is said that we will be expecting the new iOS 14 which will also be supported by older iPhone devices too.  We might see the developer beta version of the iOS 14 in June and the public one a few weeks later.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy 20 will be built with a 18MP main camera and a 48MP telephoto lens with 10 times optical zoom and 100 times digital zoom and an ultra wide angle lens which will for sure make your photo and video experience much greater!

This will offer you higher levels of detail and much clearer photographs and you will definitely never need a camera again in your life! It will also support a 8k video which we are not sure how to feel about.

The iPhone is going to have to put a lot of effort to surpass the numbers and the quality of the Samsung’s camera. We need it to have an optical zoom (3,5 or 10 times). It will be useful to have such a camera on the iPhone and move it to the next level.

5G

Concerning the 5G, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra does come with it, allowing you to use it further in the future too, while the iPhone 12 doesn’t. I would not call it a problem for now, but in the future it could cause you to go get a new phone if the 4G stops being useful.

To be honest, Apple creates its devices and lets them support updates until 3 years. So you will not be able to use your iPhone for longer than that, and if the 5G will become necessary you will need to upgrade again.

Price

This is another controversy over the devices of the two biggest mobile phone companies. Apple and Samsung may be creating amazing phones with great capabilities, but their prices are often sky-high. Many people choose to hold on to their old device for more years because they can not support the prices of the new phones.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is starting at 1.399 US dollars which is a big budget for a mobile phone as at that price you can rent a whole apartment. The S20 5G is at 999$ and the S20 Plus is at 1.199$. These prices are definitely addressing business purposes, as a working class person can not support this price.

Here is where Apple could get to the first place. If Apple decides to drop the starting price of the basic iPhone 12 at 999 US dollars, then chances are that people will prefer to get an iPhone 12 rather than the S20 Ultra.

Overview for Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra VS iPhone 12

We are talking about a monster device Samsung has manages to create and another iPhone with more capabilities. The price of the S20 Ultra though, is very high and people will start thinking about getting it or turning into another phone.

As mentioned before, Apple has not released any official informations concerning the new iPhone 12, so all we can do is speculate on the outcome of the smartphone. Judging from the progress of the current iPhone 11 Pro, Apple will surprise us once more.
